Hello! Welcome to my little corner of cyber space. I'm a New England native who once dreamed of raising my family in Europe and avoided anything that had to do with the American West (apologies to a large chunk of the USA). Today, I'm a walking testimony to God’s sense of humor, since I live quite happily in Montana with my husband of twenty-two years, two teenage daughters, a sweet-hearted Alaskan Malamute, two horses, and an ever-changing number of chickens. (Make that one teenage daughter. We just sent our firstborn to college 1000 miles away. I'm still trying to figure out where the time went!)

When I'm not immersed in writing or honing important life skills as a mom and homemaker (and forging the waters of homeschooling), you can find me knitting anything from clothes to toys, crafting for the home, or creating dioramas for my 16-inch poseable dolls (Ellowyne Wilde, anyone?).
